New York’s DJ Stretch Armstrong To Bring ‘No Sleep’ To LIMF 2017
The legendary DJ Stretch Armstrong will be bringing his ‘No Sleep’ show to the Liverpool International Music Festival for LIMF Presents.
Joined by New York City’s hip-hop stalwarts and tastemakers, Kool DJ Red Alert, DJ Clark Kent, Jungle Brothers and Slick Rick at Liverpool’s Palm House on Sunday 23rd Julyfor a celebration of New York’s prolific hip hop scene, exploring sounds from the 80’s and 90’s. Few people can claim to have had a bigger impact on the hip-hop scene than Stretch Armstrong and his award winning radio show with partner in crime Bobbito Garcia. Instrumental in breaking legendary acts such as Notorious BIG, Jay-Z, Nas and Eminem, not to mention rap icons such as Wu-Tang, Busta Rhymes, Brand Nubian and Mobb Deep, the NY DJ will be bringing his wealth of experience to LIMF in what is sure to be an unforgettable night.

A limited number of free tickets will be available for existing LIMF ticket holders to a live No Sleep Q&A and book signing on Saturday 22nd July at Lost Art Shop, in association with Lost Art x No Fakin. DJ Stretch Armstrongwill discuss the New York hip-hop scene between 88-99, ahead of his No Sleep party the following evening.
