SoundYard Announce Irish Folk Favourites and Funk with Craig Charles This September

Liverpool’s newest live music hotspot, SoundYard, is set for an electrifying September with a double-header of sell-out acts in its 900-capacity indoor/outdoor venue in the Baltic Triangle.

The festivities kick off on Saturday 20 September with Irish folk-rock favourites All Folk’d Up, returning after their sell-out show at Punch Tarmey’s in 2023. Hailing from Dublin’s iconic Temple Bar and with tours across Europe and the U.S., the band are renowned for their banjo-driven energy and modern takes on Irish classics. Support comes from the acclaimed JukeBox Duo, a piano-acoustic pair guaranteed to get feet stomping.

The following weekend, Saturday 27 September, Liverpool legend Craig Charles brings the funk for FunkYard, delivering a two-hour DJ set of the world’s funkiest tracks. Joined by local favourites Charlie Cee and Derek Kaye, the party runs from 5pm until late, promising non-stop music, dancing, and good vibes.

Craig Charles said: “There’s nothing like coming home to Liverpool. I can’t wait to get the party going with some proper funk and soul, all handpicked by me. It’s going to be an unforgettable night!”

With back-to-back weekends of world-class live music and an unbeatable atmosphere, SoundYard continues to establish itself as one of Liverpool’s most exciting music venues.
