Save The Rave Returns to Liverpool for First-Ever Christmas Special at Iconic 051 Club

Liverpool’s legendary dance night Save The Rave is making a spectacular return this December — bringing its first-ever Christmas special to the city’s iconic 051 Club.

The high-energy event, set for Saturday 6 December, promises seven hours of 90s and 00s dance anthems, epic DJ sets, and live PAs from some of the era’s biggest names. Festival favourites P*rn Kings, Rachel McFarlane, and 2Funky2 headline the night alongside Liverpool legends Lee Butler, Ian Longo, Rob Cain, Miss Mollie, and Dave Graham. Rising stars Rapid DJ and Wes P complete the line-up.

Save The Rave’s signature lights, lasers, and nostalgia-fuelled atmosphere will transform 051 into a hands-in-the-air time machine to the golden age of club culture.

Co-owner Ste James says the Christmas special marks the start of an exciting new era for the brand: “We’re pressing refresh and planning more headline acts, intimate events and club collaborations across the UK. Every one of them will take you back to those carefree days — great music, great vibes, and a great night out.”

The new owners are also committed to keeping events affordable. Tickets for the Christmas special start at just £17, offering a budget-friendly alternative to the traditional festive night out.

“People are being squeezed right now,” Ste adds. “We want to give everyone a chance to have some fun, forget their worries and have a boss night out.”

DJ and promoter Davy T, one of the event’s original driving forces, says fans can expect “a full-throttle party.”

“It’s amazing that people still love these old skool tunes. We’re gonna blow up Save The Rave at Club 051 this December.”

051 legend Dave Graham adds: “It’s where dance music exploded in the 90s — to bring that atmosphere back is going to be epic.”

Save The Rave has become a festival phenomenon, attracting more than 100,000 fans across the UK each summer. The Liverpool Christmas takeover kicks off a new wave of events for 2026, blending massive outdoor festivals with smaller club nights and collaborations designed to keep the spirit of rave alive.
