Liverpool Set To Welcome Nano Stern, Dubbed “The Best Chilean Singer-Songwriter of A Generation”

An artist that the legendary Joan Baez describes as “the best Chilean singer-songwriter of his generation” is performing in Liverpool this March.

On Friday 31 March 2023, Liverpool’s own LUMA Creations will present singer-songwriter Nano Stern at the Philharmonic Hall Music Room for what’s set to be a mesmerising and charismatic live performance.

Stern has become a reference of contemporary songwriting in South America. His musical virtuosity, mesmerising and charismatic live performances and his passionate and poetic advocacy for social justice result in a true and honest universal message. Delivered with intense energy and exquisite musicality, he dwells deeply into tradition whilst being contemporary with the passion of youth.

In this concert, Nano Stern pays tribute to Víctor Jara – the legendary Chilean folk singer who was one of the pioneers of the politically charged Chilean popular song movement, as well as a teacher, theatre director, poet and singer-songwriter.

“Nano Stern is the best Chilean singer-songwriter of his generation, with his lyrics, melodies, message, humour and heart.” – Joan Baez
