Miles Kane Announces Stripped-Back Liverpool Show Ahead of New Album Release
Liverpool-born rocker Miles Kane has announced a special stripped-back solo show in his hometown on Sunday 14 September, as part of an intimate UK in-store tour promoting his upcoming album Sunlight In The Shadows, set for release on 17 October via Easy Eye Sound.
The Liverpool date will take place at The Baltic with Jacaranda, offering fans a rare chance to see Kane up close and personal in a unique setting just weeks before the album drops.
Fresh off the back of a summer tour with The Black Keys and a main stage slot at TRNSMT Festival, Kane has just released Electric Flower, the swaggering second single from the forthcoming record. Described as a “glam rock Saturday night feeling tune,” the track captures the high-octane spirit of the album, which was produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys and recorded in the sunshine-soaked energy of Nashville.
“This one came midway through the creation of the album,” Kane explains. “The sun was beaming, riffs were falling from our heads onto the frets, and the energy in the studio was ELECTRIC.”

Sunlight In The Shadows promises 12 tracks of psychedelic-infused rock ‘n’ roll with nods to T. Rex, Motown and The Easybeats, and features contributions from a host of renowned collaborators including Patrick Carney, Tom Bukovac, and Nick Bockrath (Cage The Elephant).
Speaking about the new record, Kane says: “All roads, over 20 years, have led here. It’s an album that needs to be played live – and I can’t wait.”
Tickets for the Liverpool show and other UK dates are expected to sell fast. For more information on how to attend the in-store performances, fans should check local listings and retailers.
