Liverpool Set to Host BBC Introducing LIVE 2025 as National Music Event Returns
BBC Introducing has unveiled the full lineup for BBC Introducing LIVE 2025, with Liverpool confirmed as one of nine UK cities set to host events this October.
The annual music discovery showcase, which champions unsigned and emerging artists, will bring performances, workshops, networking sessions and masterclasses to the city following the huge success of Radio 1’s Big Weekend earlier this year.
On Wednesday 8 October, BBC Radio Merseyside will host an exclusive BBC Introducing LIVE session from a rising local artist in front of a live audience. The session will be broadcast on BBC Introducing in Merseyside, 8–10pm, Thursday 9 October.
In addition, BBC Radio 1 and BBC Introducing will collaborate for a special Liverpool legacy event, featuring a day of panels, networking and a masterclass aimed at supporting emerging musicians. Details of the venue and full programme will be announced soon.
Since its launch, BBC Introducing has been a springboard for major UK artists including Ed Sheeran, Sam Fender, Olivia Dean, Raye and Loyle Carner, and its Liverpool return is expected to spotlight the next wave of local talent.
Tickets for all BBC Introducing LIVE 2025 events are free for over 16s and will be available from Monday 15 September, 9am, via the BBC Introducing website.
