Keyside Release Earworm Of A Track, ‘Paris To Marseille’
A few weeks after a raucous and electric sold-out gig at Heebies Liverpool, local band Keyside present their sophomore single Paris to Marseille. It was truly worth the wait.
From the opening drum salvo, the song bounces along on the breeze, with a hook so sharp it could land a fish. It’s effortless, timeless, aching in its originality while simultaneously conjuring up memories of fellow Scouse tunesmiths The La’s and The Coral.
The wonderfully crisp production demands repeated listening and who knows what’s next. The clocks go forward this weekend and Keyside have delivered the perfect sound of Summer. You can catch Keyside next month at the O2 Academy supporting the Cheap Thrills.
