Father John Misty to Play Liverpool Olympia This June

Critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Father John Misty has announced a highly anticipated Liverpool show as part of his 2025 summer tour. He will perform at Liverpool Olympia on Friday 27 June, with support from special guest Loren Kramar.

The announcement follows the release of his latest album Mahashmashana, which entered the UK album chart at number 12 in November 2024 and earned rave reviews. The album features eight expansive tracks, including singles I Guess Time Makes Fools of Us All, She Cleans Up, Screamland, and Josh Tillman and The Accidental Dose.

Known for his theatrical performances and hauntingly beautiful songwriting, Father John Misty’s return to Liverpool promises a captivating evening, blending introspective ballads and upbeat tracks from his latest release.

Performing under the alias Father John Misty, Josh Tillman first came to prominence as the drummer for Fleet Foxes before launching a solo career marked by sharp lyrical commentary, rich musical arrangements, and a theatrical stage presence.

Opening the night will be Loren Kramar, a rising Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter known for his emotionally raw, genre-blending sound. His 2024 single Hollywood Blvd was widely praised for its cinematic melancholy.

Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
