Ten years on from Domino, an evolved Eugene McGuinness is back with a new album, released on Docklands Speed Shop & Mellowtone Records. With two well received singles, Seascape and London, released in 2025 – his eagerly awaited new album, Eugene McGuinness Versus The Universe is released in March ’26.
Known for his wry, nimble lyricism and blending retro influences with contemporary sounds, McGuinness is an inventive songwriter and performer with a unique brand of off-kilter pop.
McGuinness’s discography reflects his evolution as an artist – unafraid to experiment and never playing to the gallery, following a tradition of songwriters – Bob Dylan, Shane MacGowan, Randy Newman, Rufus Wainwright – with voices and interior universes that are all their own.
