Beats Beyond Borders One-Day Festival Set To Amplify Music, Activism and Solidarity

As part of Refugee Week 2025, Future Yard will host a powerful one-day fundraiser for displaced communities in Palestine, Sudan and the UK.

On Saturday 22 June, Future Yard in Birkenhead will come alive with Beats Beyond Borders — a vibrant one-day festival of music, activism and solidarity running from 1pm to 10pm. Timed to coincide with Refugee Week 2025, the event, organised by Clementine Arts CIC, offers a heartfelt creative stand with displaced communities globally and locally.

The festival will feature a dynamic line-up of some of Merseyside’s most exciting up-and-coming artists, spoken word performers, and refugee voices. Acts confirmed include DBA!, Jessica Dives, Ellis Murphy, The Balla, Grace Elizabeth Harvey and Tender Claws, with every performer generously donating their time in support of the cause.

The day will also feature appearances from guest speaker Chantelle Lunt, founder of Merseyside Black Lives Matter Alliance, and award-winning poet and activist Amina Atiq. Members of grassroots organisation Heart 4 Refugees will share moving poetry drawn from lived experience.

Tickets are available on a donation basis, starting from £12, and can be booked via Future Yard’s website. All profits from the event will be donated equally to three humanitarian charities:

  • Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP)
  • Save the Children Sudan
  • Heart 4 Refugees, based in Birkenhead

Beats Beyond Borders promises an unforgettable day of culture, connection and compassion — showing the power of Merseyside’s creative communities to stand in solidarity with people facing conflict and displacement.
