Liverpool’s Music Scene Welcomes New Rock Bar, Diego’s Demise

In a city known for its musical heritage, it’s time for those who love rock to celebrate as the team at leading North West bar and leisure group, Pub Invest Group, introduce Diego’s Demise. The newly opened rock dive bar is located right next to its sister venue K1 Metal & Electrik Warehouse, and promises to be the ultimate in underground live rock music, where no two nights are the same on Wood Street.

As well as live bands and artists, and the very finest rock DJs, Diego’s Demise is about to launch its own Bandeoke every Thursday, with their very own house band on stage to accompany budding rock stars. Rotating bands will deliver live rock every Thursday-Sunday, whilst DJs rock on until the early hours with crowd requests.

By way of a welcoming introduction, Diego’s is also offering great value drinks to make sure guests enjoy flavours to accompany their favourite tracks. The Diego’s signature margs menu has 6 flavours and comes in at just £5, all day, every day. Flavoured tequila shots are already a fan fave, with Bean flavour proving to be a huge hit, with 4 for shots for £5. A pint of Cruzcampo is currently a huge offer at just £2.60 during midweek, and £3.60 at weekends with the Hey Liverpool Loyalty Card.*

The pizza and churros are served until 10 pm and the wings menu rolls until 4 am, for those who really know how to party.

A spokesperson for Diego’s Demise comments: “Diego’s Demise will prove to be the perfect spot for those in search of live music and events, in an iconic setting in a part of the city known for its love of rock music. Liverpool has been missing a dedicated rock bar for a while and following the success of our sister club K1 Metal Club, we decided it was time to launch the city’s latest dive bar.

As the party season approaches, we look forward to a really busy opening, and we also know that clients are wanting to get the most out of their nights out, so we offer the very best in live music, ensuring that new acts and established artists get our crowds going. We have put together a great 7-day programme full of live rock alongside our daily drinks deals to ensure that everyone can have the best time. Let’s just say red ropes and VIP status aren’t really us – we are all about the most inclusive dive bar vibe.”
