Weekly Noise: Week #59

Weekly Noise is a short and straightforward way of sharing Liverpool’s trending news and topics in the form of a weekly poem. Laura Chonzi will take the top trending hashtags or stories on social media and turn them into a ten-line poetic masterpiece for each week of the month, hence the name.

We’re still recovering from Princess Kate’s cancer diagnosis,
Looks like that’s our cue to prioritise our health if you didn’t notice.
Baltimore bridge has fallen down,
And the root of it is the talk of the town.
Salah is back for the Premier League,
Then again, his skills are worth the intrigue.
Meanwhile, Thames Water is demanding a forty percent increase,
Which kinda demeans our hopes for any financial decrease.
Hope you’re all set for the Easter weekend,
Let’s pray it’s not ruined by any hostile trend.
