Noise From The City – Liverpool Grassroots Music Venues Support Programme
Dear Somebody,
Liverpool City Council has launched a new grassroots music venues support programme designed to strengthen and sustain the city’s small live music spaces — the vital places where new talent is discovered, developed and championed.
The grants scheme marks the start of a year-long programme to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Liverpool’s status as a UNESCO City Of Music. Grassroots venues across the UK have faced significant pressures in recent years, including rising operational costs, changes in the audience behaviour, and the wider impact of the cost of living crisis.
Applicants will be able to apply for support for up to six nights of live music programming, with grants of up to £3,000 per venue or promoter. Priority will be given to emerging and grassroots spaces, particularly those with a capacity under 300. Now is the time for under-represented backgrounds/genres to shine whilst simultaneously diversifying our cities music scene.
Applications are now open and will close on Friday 13 February 2026 at 12PM. For more information, visit Liverpool Grassroots Music Venues Support Programme.
Sincerely,
Liverpool Noise
