Noise From The City: Liverpool Drugs And Alcohol Support Services

Dear Somebody,

Addict or not, we can all agree that prevention is better than cure. Partners from across Liverpool recently came together for the quarterly meeting of the Liverpool Combating Drugs Partnerships (CDP), reaffirming their joint commitment to reducing drugs and alcohol related issues across the city.

The meeting explored the impact of how stigma anticipated or experienced stigma discourages individuals from accessing treatment, even when they need it, due to fear of judgment or discrimination.

The research is designed to help us to understand and measure attitude and behaviours, and to build knowledge and deepen understanding to better support people who use alcohol and other drugs and fostering safer and more respectful environments.

Don’t suffer in silence, for free and confidential support related to drug and alcohol use please contact: riversupportservices.org.uk or call 0151 706 7888.

Sincerely,
Liverpool Noise
