Liverpool ONE Announces Two Exciting New Additions for Football Fans
Liverpool ONE is set to become an even bigger destination for football lovers next spring, as two major new sports concepts prepare to open their doors in the city centre.
Crossbar, a brand-new interactive football experience, and Pro:Direct Soccer, the world’s leading premium online football retailer, will both make their Liverpool debut at the retail and leisure hub—further cementing its reputation as one of the UK’s most vibrant shopping destinations.
A New Football Retail Experience

Pro:Direct Soccer will launch a huge 6,000 sq ft PD:FC store, bringing a mix of elite match-day gear, training essentials, terrace fashion and tech-inspired streetwear. The brand promises more than just a shopping trip—PD:FC is pitched as a “cultural hub” celebrating Liverpool’s place at the centre of global football culture.
The store will blend cutting-edge sports technology with the creative influences found across Liverpool’s stadiums, streets and music scene, setting “a new benchmark for football retail,” the brand says.
Crossbar: Not Your Usual Kickabout

Opening directly above Pro:Direct, Crossbar will launch its first-ever location at Liverpool ONE, taking over 25,000 sq ft of space across two floors on Manesty’s Lane.
The new attraction will feature state-of-the-art football boxes packed with immersive tech, including reactive projection, motion tracking and surround sound—ideal for groups looking for a next-generation football challenge. Alongside the gaming zones, visitors can enjoy a bar and casual dining space, while upstairs Club 11 will offer a full restaurant experience.
Rob Deacon, Director of Asset Management at Liverpool ONE, said the new additions reflect the destination’s ongoing focus on experiences: “We want to create enjoyable moments for visitors every time they are here. Crossbar will be a strong new anchor that provides even more reasons to visit or lengthen an existing trip.”
Sam Baldock, Chief of Brand at Pro:Direct, added: “Liverpool is a global icon of football culture. Bringing PD:FC to Liverpool ONE is about more than opening a store; it’s about cementing our vision in one of football’s defining cities.”
Crossbar founder Brett Duarte said the team had long been waiting for the right location: “We have been searching for the perfect place to launch for some time, and Liverpool ONE’s reputation made it the obvious choice.”
The openings follow the recent arrival of a 7,000 sq ft Anthropologie store and complete the re-letting of the former Flannels and Beauty Bazaar Harvey Nichols units.
