The Ivy Asia Introduces New Day-To-Night Dining Experiences
As diners continue to seek experiences that feel special yet accessible, The Ivy Asia is reimagining what luxury dining looks like today. Recent research conducted by The Ivy Collection reflects a broader shift in attitudes, revealing that more than one in three Brits (36%) now define luxury by how something makes them feel, rather than how much it costs, while just 14% associate luxury primarily with exclusivity or high price points.
Known for its dramatic interiors, theatrical presentation and bold pan-Asian flavours, The Ivy Asia is responding to this shift by introducing a new way to enjoy its signature experience, one that fits more naturally into everyday life. Launching as part of Dual Forces of Asia, a new culinary concept inspired by two enduring archetypes of Asian culture, the restaurant presents the Dragon Lunch Menu, priced at £19.95, and the Samurai Dinner Menu, available for £28.50. Together, they define a seamless day-to-night dining experience that balances generosity, craftsmanship and value, with both menus offering two courses and sides to share.
Executive Chef Simon Gregory says: “Luxury today is defined by connection, comfort, and quality; not just cost. Our new Dragon & Samurai set menus at The Ivy Asia are designed to make those everyday luxuries more attainable, whether it’s a midweek lunch, a spontaneous dinner or an evening spent sharing dishes with friends and family. By bringing together signature favourites and seasonal highlights in beautifully curated menus, we’re offering guests the theatre, flavour, and elegance of The Ivy Asia in a way that feels accessible; a chance to enjoy life’s special moments, whatever the occasion.”
A shift towards accessible luxury
The Ivy Collection’s research also found that nearly half of Brits (46%) consider being able to treat themselves without worrying about the cost to be an “everyday luxury”, while 34% say enjoying a meal out with others is one of life’s small luxuries. These insights point to a growing desire for dining experiences that feel indulgent yet attainable, something The Ivy Asia’s new menus are designed to deliver.
The Dragon Lunch Menu captures the spirit of abundance, warmth and shared celebration. Available Monday to Friday from 11.30am to 5pm, it offers a relaxed and generous introduction to The Ivy Asia’s menu, making it the most accessible way yet to experience the brand’s vibrant atmosphere and bold flavours.
Guests begin with Crispy Wontons & Poppadoms served with a Szechuan dip to share, followed by a choice of starters including Cucumber & Avocado Sushi Rolls, Ebi Prawn Tempura with chilli, lime and ginger dressing, King Oyster & Shiitake Gyoza with yuzu dressing, Satay Chicken Yakitori skewers or Seared Beef Tataki.
Mains feature some of The Ivy Asia’s most popular dishes, including King Prawn Katsu Curry, Salt & Pepper Beef Fillet with ginger noodles, cashews and chives, Wok Fried Pork Belly, Teriyaki Chicken with steamed broccoli, and a vegetarian Keralan Chickpea & Aubergine Curry. Each dish is served with steamed rice and wok-fried greens for the table, creating a generous and satisfying experience.
Guests can add dessert for £5, choosing from Coconut Panna Cotta with pineapple, passion fruit and toasted coconut, warm Passion Fruit & Coconut Doughnuts with yoghurt dipping sauce, or classic Soft Serve Ice Cream with dark chocolate sauce.
From day to night, with purpose
As the day transitions into evening, the focus shifts to the Samurai Dinner Menu; inspired by precision, restraint and mastery. Designed for relaxed dinners and considered evenings out, the menu offers the same bold flavours and theatrical presentation The Ivy Asia is known for, delivered in a composed and approachable format.
Priced at £28.50, the Samurai Dinner Menu includes two courses with sides to share and the option to add dessert, offering a natural progression from the lunchtime Dragon menu into an equally compelling evening experience.
A new way to experience The Ivy Asia
With its immersive interiors and vibrant energy, The Ivy Asia has long been celebrated for creating memorable dining moments. These new menus reflect an evolution of that experience, inviting guests to enjoy the same sense of theatre, flavour and generosity, without needing a special occasion.
As expectations around dining continue to evolve, The Ivy Asia’s Dragon Lunch and Samurai Dinner menus offer a way to enjoy everyday luxury with confidence, combining atmosphere, quality and value in equal measure.
