Sweet-toothed Liverpudlians are in for a treat this July as LEAF’s beloved Pudding Club returns with a seasonal twist. Taking place on Thursday 17 July at LEAF on Bold Street and Friday 18 July at Smithdown Road, A Taste of Summer is the latest themed edition of the iconic dessert experience.
A long-standing favourite in Liverpool’s food calendar, Pudding Club serves up five indulgent courses paired with specially selected loose-leaf teas from LEAF’s impressive collection of nearly 100 varieties. Guided by the expert palate of LEAF’s resident tea sommelier, Tea Tony, each sweet dish is perfectly matched with its ideal tea companion, elevating the flavours to new heights.
This month’s summery line-up includes:
- Rhubarb and custard tart
- Brioche summer pudding with summer fruits
- Badam baked cheesecake with filo, pistachios, and pistachio cream
- Blueberry frangipane tart with crème fraîche
- Chocolate and raspberry tart
Doors open at 6.30pm with desserts served promptly from 7pm. Tickets are just £25 per person, offering exceptional value for an evening of handcrafted puddings and tea-led pairings.
