Liverpool is set for a sugar rush this December as cult dessert favourite Insomnia Cookies opens its first Slater Street store in the city centre.
The US-born brand, known for delivering warm, fresh cookies until the early hours, will celebrate its launch on Saturday 13 December from 2:00pm with special guests The Queen of Scotty Road and Michael Aldag. One lucky fan in the first spot of the queue will win a whole year’s supply of cookies, while the next 50 arrivals will receive free Insomnia merchandise. Everyone else can enjoy a complimentary warm cookie and enter to win a host of prizes throughout the opening event.
Insomnia Cookies has already gained a loyal following across the UK with stores in Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, Birmingham, Nottingham, and Bristol. Its menu features indulgent classics like Chocolate Chunk (#ChunksNotChips), Reese’s Peanut Butter, and Biscoff, alongside seasonal specials such as the Bueno Deluxe Cookie, Cookie’wich, cookie shakes, cookie cakes, brownies, ice cream, and more. Delivery runs until 3am, and customers can even create personalised cookie boxes for the ultimate late-night treat.
