
Farina: Liverpool’s Only Pasta Lab Opens In City Centre
Farina, Liverpool’s only pasta lab, has opened in the city centre.
Formerly known as Hey Farina when it first opened its doors in 2023, the venue has been reimagined to develop the city’s first pasta lab where over 15 varieties are freshly made onsite each day.
Created by the city’s popular Italian brothers Paolo and Donato Cillo, along with Donato’s son Antonio, Farina encapsulates the true essence of casual Italian dining.
With a selection of over 15 different pasta varieties on display, and the chef’s creating fresh portions in an open kitchen for guests to admire, Farina is also home to its signature crispy pizza Romana; thin, crispy pizza that can be eaten in abundance, as well as delicious focaccia sandwiches with the bread being provided by Paolo and Donato’s brother Carmine who has his own bakery and bakes fresh everyday.

Located on Richmond Street, and as part of the Italian Quarter, a Liverpool institution, Farina is perfect for families, groups of friends, couples and colleagues who are looking for an authentic taste of Italy in the heart of Liverpool.
Guests can tuck into their choice of pasta and pair it with their favourite sauce to create their very own pasta dish. Or they can go classic and order traditional with the likes of Genovese sauce made up of melt in the mouth beef with onions, paired with paccheri pasta.
Open every day from 11am for lunchtime diners, right through to 8pm on Sundays, 8.30pm Monday-Thursday and 9pm Fridays and Saturdays, Farina offers affordable prices for luxurious dishes of the highest quality.
