Everton Updates Travel Hub Ahead of Final Test Event at Hill Dickinson Stadium

Everton has updated its online Travel Hub with the latest travel information ahead of the final test event at Hill Dickinson Stadium, set to take place next weekend.

The eagerly anticipated sell-out fixture against AS Roma will kick off at 3pm, followed by the Everton v AS Roma Legends match at 5.15pm. Supporters attending the matches are encouraged to use the Travel Hub to plan their journeys, with enhanced public transport options in place for the event.

Located just north of Liverpool City Centre, Hill Dickinson Stadium is well connected by all major forms of transport. Train services to nearby Sandhills Station will run longer and more frequently, with a new pedestrian bridge now providing an additional entrance for improved access. From Sandhills, Accessible Shuttle Buses will be available to assist fans getting to the ground.

Additional shuttle bus services will operate before and after the match from key locations including Bootle Strand, Kirkby, and Liverpool City Centre (Commutation Row and Liverpool ONE).

Ferry services between Seacombe and Pier Head will also be in operation again, and could form part of a permanent matchday travel solution in future.

Fans are also reminded that Hill Dickinson Stadium is also easily accessible on foot and bicycle from Liverpool City Centre. We encourage anyone considering this mode of transport to watch the video with Evertonian Simon O’Brien and his experience of cycling to stadium.

The Travel Hub also includes key details on parking options, road closures, and other essential travel advice. To explore all transport routes and plan your journey, visit the Hill Dickinson Stadium Travel Hub.

Further updates regarding the final test event — including digital ticketing, food and drink options, Blue Badge parking, and what to expect inside the stadium footprint — will be shared in the coming days.
