Bongo’s Bingo Launch Their Very Own Podcast – Bongo’s Bungalow
In the year Bongo’s Bingo celebrates its big tenth birthday, Jonny Bongo and the team are exceedingly proud to reveal they are launching a podcast, too.
Bongo’s Bungalow is launching on Tuesday 4 February and it’s a no holds barred, lid-lifting odyssey on the wild story of Bongo’s Bingo and what goes on behind the scenes, plus a wider take on UK pop-culture, weekly anecdotes and attempting to make sense of this crazy, shape-shifting world.
Joining Bongo’s Bingo’s co-founder Jonny are Jimmy Sweets, one of the original hosts, and Slutty Susie – aka Cole Fraser – one of the first dancers. They know Bongo’s Bingo – and each other – inside out. The terrific trio will host a main episode each Tuesday and a bonus show every Friday, inviting listeners to get involved with the crazy world of Bongo’s Bungalow as they gear up for the 10th anniversary in March.

Jonny Bongo says: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be launching the Bongo’s Bungalow in February. I’ve always wanted to do a podcast, especially following on from the streaming we did during the pandemic to the nation. And this feels like the perfect time to launch as we approach our 10th birthday too. Jim, Cole and myself will be delving deep into what makes Bongo’s Bingo tick, the story of how we started and our weekly exploits, mixed with audience participation, weekly features, dares and bonuses. It’s going to be absolutely class and we’re super excited to bring Bongo’s Bingo to a new audience.”
Bongo’s Bungalow is produced by the team at On Repeat, led by Lucas Poole and Alex Toal. With over 20 years of experience in radio and podcasting, they each have worked on award-winning hits like Nip Tuck, On The Sofa, The TT Podcast, and Help I Sexted My Boss, as well as producing unforgettable radio specials featuring legends like Elton John, Boy George, and Dolly Parton.
Bongo’s Bungalow launches on Tuesday 4 February followed by the bonus episode on Friday 7 February and weekly thereafter. Find it on Apple Podcasts and Spotify, or watch the full episodes on YouTube. Just search @bongosbungalow on socials to find Bongo’s Bungalow.
