Liverpool Art Fair 2025: 200 Local Artists Take Over The Royal Liver Building

Liverpool Art Fair will return to one of the city’s most iconic landmarks this summer, transforming the Royal Liver Building into a vibrant celebration of local art and creativity. Running from 11 July to 25 August 2025, the event marks its 11th edition and promises its biggest showcase yet, with nearly 200 artists exhibiting work under one roof.

Organised by Liverpool-based visual arts organisation dot-art, the fair continues its mission to make art accessible for all, offering original works from just £20 to £2,000, with a special section dedicated to pieces under £200. Visitors will discover an incredible range of styles and media, from emerging talents to more established names – all living and working within 35 miles of Liverpool.

This year’s artists were selected from over 350 submissions by a panel of cultural experts including Joe Brooks (National Museums Liverpool), Claire Weetman (artist), Sarah Lovell (Liverpool City Region Combined Authority), and returning panelist Faith Bebbington (sculptor). Together, they’ve ensured a diverse and high-quality representation of the region’s creative talent.

To mark the occasion, the fair will be open every day throughout the summer from 11am to 5pm, making it easier than ever for visitors to discover and purchase art. Entry is free, inviting everyone to browse, explore, and be inspired.

Alongside the exhibition, a programme of creative workshops delivered by Cass Art will run throughout the fair. These hands-on sessions will offer a chance for visitors of all ages and abilities to get creative and try their hand at new techniques. Full workshop details will be released on the fair’s website soon.

Since its launch in 2012 (with a brief pause during the COVID pandemic), Liverpool Art Fair has welcomed over 60,000 visitors and showcased work by nearly 2,500 artists. More than just a selling event, it has become a key platform for supporting creative careers and encouraging new collectors.

“We’re pleased to be celebrating our 11th year with a strong selection of almost 200 artists,” says Lucy Byrne, Managing Director of dot-art. “The quality and diversity of work continues to showcase the incredible talent in our region.”

With the Royal Liver Building providing a stunning backdrop and a central, accessible location, Liverpool Art Fair 2025 promises to be a highlight of the city’s cultural calendar – an unmissable opportunity to support local artists and find something truly special.
