Liverpool Independent Freshers Fair Returns for 2026 with Space for 5,000 Students

Liverpool Independent Freshers Fair will return to Einstein Bier Haus in Concert Square on Tuesday 22 September 2026, following the success of its inaugural event last year.

This year’s fair will be significantly expanded, with space for 120 exhibitors and an expected 5,000 students – double the number who attended its 2025 debut.

The first Liverpool Independent Freshers Fair attracted more than 70 exhibitors and 2,500 students. Organisers have now increased the event’s footprint inside Einstein Bier Haus to accommodate a larger selection of local favourites and major international brands.

Students attending the free event can expect exclusive discounts, large-scale giveaways and thousands of freebies throughout the day.

Lush, HEYTEA, Coca-Cola, Tavern Co, McCooley’s, XF Gym and The Bagelry are among the first brands confirmed for the 2026 fair, with further names set to be announced in the run-up to the event.

Philip Gillespie, spokesperson for the Liverpool Independent Freshers Fair, said: “Last year was our first Independent Freshers Fair, and we were blown away by the response from both exhibitors and students.

“This year, we’ve significantly expanded the footprint to make the event bigger and better. The feedback has been fantastic, and we are gearing up for another incredible day in this brilliant student city.”

Taking place in the heart of Liverpool city centre, the fair is open to students aged 18 and over. Entry is free, but advance registration is required.
