Easter Fun Springs to Life at Liverpool ONE

Liverpool ONE’s free Easter Party made an egg-citing return this Good Friday (3 April) with something for everybunny!

Hosted by local presenters, Jay Hynd and Gemma Cutting, from 11am to 5pm, the party’s packed programme was fun-filled with Easter treats – from bonnet-making to special Easter games.

Visitors were greeted by Easter walkabout characters including Plucky the Chicken, walking plant pots and even two bunnies. Over 100 children entered their egg-stravagant handmade designs into the Easter bonnet competition for a chance to win fun prizes.

Families got crafty at the free Easter hat sessions at John Lewis and Cass Art delivered in partnership with local creative organisation dot-art and had a cracking time at face painting, egg-and-spoon races and even a bit of barn dancing.

Donna Howitt, Deputy Centre Director at Liverpool ONE, said: “Our free Easter Party has become one of our favourite days of the year since we introduced it to our event programme last year. We love welcoming visitors of all ages to come together and celebrate with us at Liverpool ONE.

“It’s always great to see our visitors unleashing their creativity at the Easter bonnet competition and coming together with friends and family for this free-to-enjoy event.”
