St Patrick’s Day in Liverpool 2026: The Ultimate Guide
St. Patrick’s Day is always a big celebration in Liverpool, and 2026 is no exception, with bars and venues across the city going all out with live music, flowing Guinness and Irish-inspired food and drink. From month-long takeovers to all-night parties, here are some of the best places to soak up the Irish spirit this March.
Albert’s Schloss
This March, Albert’s Schloss is painting the town green, cueing the fiddles and throwing a month-long St Patrick’s Day bash packed with flowing Guinness, Jameson-laced cocktails, Irish feasting and a whole lot of Schloss-style mischief.
For just one month only, perfectly poured pints of Guinness will flow from the taps- and once it’s gone, it’s gone for the rest of the year. The bar is also partnering with Jameson to serve up special cocktails including a smooth Irish Velvet and a zingy Jameson, Ginger and Lime.
Over in the Cook Haus, the chefs are serving up Celtic comfort with a Schloss-sized flourish, with three limited-edition specials:
- Cow and Guinness Pie – braised shin of beef, parsley and bone marrow stuffing, double cream mash, hispi cabbage
- Smoked Salmon Irish Boxty – Irish potato pancake, baby spinach, sour cream, pickled red onions and dill
- Sticky Toffee Pudding – with Jameson toffee sauce and vanilla ice cream
BOXPARK Liverpool
BOXPARK Liverpool is turning up the Irish spirit this March with a month-long St Patrick’s Day takeover in partnership with the world’s number one Irish whiskey, Jameson. Expect a craic-filled celebration as BOXPARK Liverpool brings its signature energy to all things Irish, from lively entertainment to a limited-edition drinks menu crafted especially for the occasion. Throughout the month, guests can enjoy exclusive Jameson drink offers and themed cocktails, making it the perfect excuse to gather friends, raise a glass, and soak up the festive atmosphere.
The celebrations kick off with the Paddy’s Weekend Party on Friday 13th, putting Irish knowledge, and a few pints, to the test in true BOXPARK style. The party continues with the Big Fat St Pat’s Quiz Box on Thursday 19th, promising big tunes, buzzing crowds and plenty of Irish cheer and it’s all for a good cause, as the party is in aid of Woodlands Hospice Trust.
Pogue Mahone
Pogue Mahone is the city’s home of the perfect pint of Guinness and famed for its true Irish hospitality. For St Patrick’s Day the celebrations start on Friday 13th through to Tuesday 17th March, with live music all weekend, the Six Nations and football. Then for the big day itself there’s live music from The Hannogans, Penniless Tenants, Jon Witherspoon Duo and Ali Horn plus limited edition t-shirts on sale. Pogue’s Guinness is so good that they are one of only 35 UK pubs named in The Guinness Harp Guide 2026 for serving outstanding pints of the black elixir.
Teddy’s
A good time is guaranteed at Teddy’s and for Paddy’s Day they are going all out. Kerrashed are the brilliant pop-punk party band who always bring the biggest hits and loads of singalong bangers and they are performing on Tuesday 17th March.
