Star-Studded Cast Announced for Cinderella at the Epstein Theatre This Christmas

The Epstein Theatre has unveiled the full glittering cast for its magical Christmas production of Cinderella, with Coronation Street favourite Katie McGlynn leading the way as the beloved fairytale heroine.

McGlynn, who won a National Television Award for her role as Sinead Tinker, is joined by Liverpool panto icon Leanne Campbell, returning by popular demand to sprinkle festive magic as the Fairy Godmother. TV presenter and BBC Radio Merseyside reporter Kevin Duala – known to millions as the former host of Blue’s Clues – will bring humour and heart to the stage as Buttons.

The festive spectacular, produced by Regal Entertainments Ltd, runs from 5 December 2025 to 4 January 2026 at the historic Grade II listed venue on Hanover Street.

Joining the leading trio are Conor Barrie as Dandini, Michael Nelson as Prince Charming, and celebrated drag performers Shania Pain and Brenda LaBeau, who will bring fabulous chaos to proceedings as the Ugly Sisters.

Audiences can expect lavish costumes, dazzling choreography, and a host of singalong favourites as the classic story unfolds – from Cinderella’s life of drudgery at the hands of her wicked stepsisters to her magical transformation and unforgettable night at the royal ball.

Director Chantelle Joseph said: “I’m thrilled to return to the Epstein Theatre to bring this timeless tale to life with such an exceptional cast. We can’t wait to deliver a truly magical pantomime for Liverpool audiences this Christmas.”

Tickets start from ÂŁ20 and are available now from the Epstein Theatre website.
