New Immersive Baking Experience, The Big Liverpool Bake, Is Now Open
The Big Bakes team is thrilled to announce that its latest venue, The Big Liverpool Bake has officially opened its doors at 60 Old Hall Street, bringing the UK’s No.1 Baking experience, to the heart of the city.
Following weeks of anticipation, and the city a-buzz after seeing Head Baker Alasdair walking a giant pink cake through the city centre on his way to Old Hall Street to share the good news, guests can now step into the iconic baking tent and experience 90 minutes of pure baking joy, no experience required!
Whether it’s a birthday celebration, date night, hen do, team social, or just something a little different to do with friends, The Big Liverpool Bake offers a one-of-a-kind experience that’s all about fun, flour, and friendly competition.
Inside the venue, guests will enter a beautiful, cake-themed cocktail bar, with decorative touches inspired by Lewis Carrol’s Alice in Wonderland (who grew up near Liverpool). Hidden behind a fridge door, (yes a fridge door!) guests will find the iconic baking tent, complete with 12 baking stations, with top appliances from AEG and Kenwood and all the ingredients pre measured for a bit of baking magic.
What’s more, there is a private hospitality area, called the “Party Dough-main”, perfect for group events, celebrations and meetings.
Already a hit in London, Birmingham and Manchester, The Big Bakes is an award-winning immersive baking experience where guests bake the designated theme of the month in pairs, guided by the Head Baker, with everything pre-weighed, prepped, and ready to go. All you have to bring is your competitive spirit. Plus, there’s even a prize at the end for the winning pair!
Inside the Liverpool venue, mornings begin with a cosy café and coffee shop, while evenings transform into a lively cocktail bar, perfect for walk-ins and after work drinks alike. With a new theme each month, there’s always something fresh going on at The Big Liverpool Bake. This month they’re kicking things off with Monster Cake, for Halloween!
Eloise Frank, Co-Founder of The Big Bakes, said: “We’re so excited to finally open our doors in Liverpool! The response since announcing our arrival has been incredible, the warmth, enthusiasm, and community spirit of this city have been really inspiring. We can’t wait to welcome our first bakers through the doors and see what Liverpool creates!”
The Big Liverpool Bake is now open at 60 Old Hall Street.
