North Pole Experience Opens Doors to North West Children’s Charities This Christmas
With less than 100 days until Christmas, Liverpool’s much-loved festive attraction, The North Pole Experience, is marking the countdown by inviting children’s charities from across the North West to enjoy a magical Christmas visit – completely free of charge.
The initiative, held at Otterspool Adventure, will dedicate special days this December to local charities, giving children and their families the chance to immerse themselves in the seasonal spectacle. Already confirmed to take part are Zoe’s Place and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, with more charity places now available.
Steven Cosgrove, Director of the North Pole Experience, said: “Christmas is all about making memories and sharing joy, and everyone deserves to feel part of that. By inviting local charities to the North Pole Experience, we can help spread a little bit of festive magic to those who need it most. It’s something we’re proud to do and we can’t wait to welcome more charities through our doors.”
The experience transports families to a winter wonderland filled with festive activities, including:
- A ride on the Snowtrail Express from the fictional Liverpool Victoria Railway Station
- Helping Patch and Coggs in the Elf Workshop, with each child taking home a teddy bear
- Baking gingerbread in Mrs Claus’ Kitchen
- Ice skating and exploring the Elf Village
- Warming up at Mr. Toasty’s firepit
- Sending a letter at the North Pole Post Office
- A visit to Father Christmas in his cosy log cabin
Since its launch, the North Pole Experience has become a highlight of Liverpool’s festive calendar, drawing families from across the region. This year promises to be bigger and brighter than ever, with new features and surprises to discover.

The attraction will open to the public on the following dates:
- 29 & 30 November
- 6 & 7 December
- 13 & 14 December
- 20 – 24 December
