Propel PR’s International Women’s Day Celebration Expands for a Bigger, Bolder Second Year
Propel PR, a female-owned business created by Georgia and Jade Morgan from Liverpool, will host its second International Women’s Day Event this year.
On Saturday 8th March, the sisters and business owners will return to host a celebration of all things female for the second year running.
This year, the event will take place at Ten Streets Social, spanning over three rooms to facilitate the growing celebration.
Sponsored by the iconic David M Robinson Jewellery, that was first launched in Liverpool back in 1969, Propel PR will welcome guests from 4pm for welcome drinks and canapés, as well as a chance to take advantage of a range of empowering stations including mini hand massages from Urban Calm, goal and intention setting, a make-up touch up station by Doll Beauty, business tips from Blue Leopard Coaching and Kate’s Krystals to name a few.
At 5.30pm, guests will move into Ten Street Social’s dedicated events space where female Liverpool entrepreneurs will take to the stage for an inspirational panel, revealing key tips and tricks into how they became successful.
The panel will be hosted by Gemma Cutting, and guest speakers include Kate Stewart; self-made millionaire at just 26 and owner of The Sandon Liverpool and Vitality Homes, Harriet Jefferies; also known as The Gym Bird and co-owner of Babe Fitness Studios, Megan Kimmance and Abby Adderley; co-founders of Red Run Activewear, a dynamic streetwear brand with a flagship Liverpool ONE store and Danielle Gregory; co-founder of Doll Beauty, one of the UK’s leading beauty brands.
The exciting event will also include live music from Rachael Ward of All Things Acoustic and dancers from Femme Girls UK, a Liverpool-born brand, as well as a photobooth from Elite Events Hire, sweet treats from Get Yer Macaron and the Strawbqueen to make the day even better!
Other sponsors include Sedulo; one of the fastest growing UK mid-tier business advisory firms that combines finance with strategy, Jaloux; Liverpool’s prettiest venue that is famous for its brunches and Drink Cocoro; a new coffee brand that blends premium coffee with organic adaptogens including Lion’s Mane and Change for sustained energy, laser focus and immune support without the jitters or midday crashes.
Tickets are available for £17.50 via Eventbrite and include a welcome drink and canapés.
Georgia, 31, said: “On Saturday 8 March, on International Women’s Day, we’ll be bringing together a room full of amazing women; women in business, women aspiring to start their own business, women working at fantastic businesses in Liverpool, all with the goal of celebrating our capabilities and successes, whilst taking inspiration from each other to leave feeling positive and empowered. Our panel is made up of four impressive female entrepreneurs from Liverpool who will share their journey to success, revealing key business tips and tricks and do’s and don’ts of business.”
Jade, 36, added: “Last year was such an amazing event with a room filled with women wanting to be their best self whilst uplifting others in the process. This year, we’ve gone bigger and better with empowering stations including goal setting and express business tips as well as mini hand massages and other wellness focussed stations to have all of our guests feeling their very best. We then have our panel, followed by live entertainment, drinks and dancing. We can’t wait to celebrate how impressive the ladies of Liverpool really are, whilst providing the perfect opportunity to network and be surrounded by like minded women.”
