Bette Schindler Premiers Music Video for ‘I Love You’
Born and raised on a barge in Amsterdam to a bohemian family of jazz musicians, Bette Schindler is a true tour de force – songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, performer, producer, and young mother. Her music weaves effortlessly between the timeless elegance of classic jazz and the fresh, contemporary sounds of modern soul.
With songs that radiate optimism, positivity, and love, she channels echoes of modern jazz greats while crafting a sound that is unmistakably her own.
Following the release of her debut single, Woke Up, in summer 2024, Bette quickly landed on the playlists of the UK’s Jazz FM and the Netherlands’ NPO Jazz and Soul. The track served as the first glimpse into her upcoming EP of the same name, set for release in May 2025. Her follow-up single, You’re So Beautiful, received a similarly warm reception before I Love You was crowned Track of the Week by Jazz FM’s Nigel Williams.
Cementing her presence on the live circuit, Bette closed out 2024 with a sold-out label showcase at the Notting Hill Arts Club Jazz Festival before launching into 2025 with an intimate performance at Amsterdam’s legendary Paradiso. This year, she continues to build momentum as a live artist, with performances across both the Netherlands and the UK.
Her next release from the Woke Up EP is a bold reinterpretation of La Roux’s Bulletproof—a hypnotic fusion of drum & bass, jazz, and soul, breathing new life into the iconic hit and is set for release in Spring 2025.
