Hope Street’s popular bar and live music hotspot, Frederiks, is pulling out all the stops this holiday season.
As well as running a whole month of ‘XXMAS’ Christmas dining and private parties, Fred’s has just announced two big events – its annual New Year’s Eve knees-up, plus for the first time a Boxing Day party.
Going back to the classic soul weekenders of yesteryear, Fred’s are throwing a SoulDays Special on Thursday 26 December in partnership with Hope Street Jazz.
DJ John Dean and some special guests will take guests on a journey through Rare Groove, Soul, Funk & Disco, playing artists such as Loose Ends, Change, Roy Ayers, The System, Evelyn King, Chaka Khan, The SOS Band and Soul II Soul to name only a few.
Starting at 6pm and running ’til late, this event is perfect for working off those Christmas calories on the dance floor!
On 31 December, Frederiks welcomes the New Year with its Disco and Decadence party. Get ready for an unforgettable evening of cocktails, champagne, a raucous midnight countdown and sets by the GloryTo DJs, who’ll be firing out legendary disco tracks into the early hours of ’25.
A sell-out every year, NYE tickets start at just £10, with limited walk-ins available on the night. Tickets for Boxing Day are £5. Both are available now on Skiddle or from the Frederiks’ website.
