Adam Partridge Valuation Day At The Royal Liver Building Offers Free Valuations

Adam Partridge is one of the UK’s best-known Antiques and Fine Art specialists, regularly appearing on television shows as an expert and auctioneer. For one day only on the 24 October, Adam and his experienced team will be at the iconic Royal Liver Building, giving free valuations.

The event is taking place on the ground floor of the famous building on The Strand between 10am and 3pm and people are invited to bring their collectables and rare or historic items along. There is no need to book in advance and people may also be able to consign pieces for auction at Adam’s Liverpool saleroom on Jordan Street, in The Baltic Triangle.

As part of the event, The Royal Liver Building will also be showing artefacts from their own achieve that have previously never been on display. So even if you don’t have items to bring along, you can still view something exclusive in the most recognisable building in the city.

Ian Edwards, General Manager of the Royal Liver Building said, “We’ve recently been holding more arts events in the building and this opportunity presented itself via Laura McCann, who curated the Paul Curtis exhibition here. We’ve also been hosting the Dip Into Pride Bath, an arts installation Laura designed for Pride. We’re really pleased we’ve been able to support local artists and charities, whist offering people a chance to see art for free. When Laura suggested the valuation day it seemed like another way to engage with the community around us, which is something we at CBRE feel is very important”.

Adam Partridge commented, “We’re delighted to be holding a valuation day at The Royal Liver Building and my colleagues and I are excited to see what hidden gems are in their private collections. It’s always a pleasure to meet with the public and hear their stories about the items they bring along. Hopefully we’ll be able to tell them more about their rare and unusual historical items and maybe even auction a few pieces for them in the near future”.

Entry to the event is free and although valuations will take place between 10am and 3pm, the public will be able to arrive from 9am and refreshments will be available throughout at the fully licensed café. The ground floor is accessible with a ramped entrance at the riverside door facing the Pier Head.
