Pizza Express Opens Fresh Pizzeria In New Mersey Retail Park
Pizza Express has opened a brand-new restaurant in the New Mersey Shopping Park to serve customers their most-loved pizzas in a bright and vibrant setting.
The new restaurant can’t be missed as it’s located next to the main entrance, making it the perfect spot for diners looking to refuel after an afternoon browsing the shops or to catch up with friends. Flavours and the passion of Italian dining culture have been brought to the Speke pizzeria with stylish concertina doors and an outside dining area for the warmer months too.
At the heart of the restaurant, the signature Pizza Express open style kitchen has been updated with a completely new finish. This will allow customers to watch expert pizzaiolos create their favourites right in front of them and bring a touch of theatre to the dining experience.
Speke Pizza Express customers can enjoy the newly released Autumn menu which celebrates global flavours with an Italian edge. The Tikka Paneer pizza includes Geeta’s® Tikka spiced paneer on a Romana base, served with roasted peppers, sweet red onion, fiery fresh chillies and creamy mozzarella, all topped off with Geeta’s® Premium Mango Chutney, cooling coriander yoghurt and fresh coriander.
Diners can warm up their tastebuds with spicier renditions of popular dishes such as the fiery Spicy Giuseppe and new Dynamite Dough Balls accompanied by a hot chilli, garlic and roasted pepper salsa. For fans of the classics, the Autumn menu sees a reintroduction of cult classics including, the Funghi di Bosco, Pollo Forza and Garlic Prawn.
The pizzeria is led by Liverpool local, Ashley Orme and her 30-strong team including passionate staff such as Marco, whose expert skills in the kitchen have seen him become a senior pizzaiolo in just three years.
