The Top UK Road Trip Routes

Are you thinking about going on a road trip this summer? Whether it is your first or 100th road trip – there is plenty of new places still to explore. From the beautiful countryside, to cliffs and sandy beaches, there are many different routes that you can do across the UK, that you can put your own stamp on. Why not take a few back roads and go off and explore? After all, the places you stumble across accidentally can often turn out to be the best!

Before you start your road trip, make sure that you have done enough preparation, including packing everything that you may need, and car maintenance. Consider putting some Michelin Tyres onto the vehicle that you choose to take, as new tyres can help you save fuel and provide better grip. Staying up to date with traffic rules and regulations in the areas you plant to visit is also recommended. Changes to traffic regulations such as holding a dvs permit for heavy goods vehicles over 12 tonnes are meant to make roads safer for everyone, so it’s advisable to be aware of all legal provisions before you hit the road.
