Life Drawing at 92 Degrees
Ran by Liverpool Independent Art School, 92 Degrees on Hardman Street offers Life Drawing classes, every Tuesday. All levels of experience are welcome and it’s the perfect relaxed environment to improve your skill and support a local business. Tickets are £12 per person.
Drawing Techniques at FACT
Dot-art are offering a 10-week course, designed to develop observational and expressive drawing techniques and skills. This course is suitable for beginners and will take place on Mondays between 24 January and 28 March. It is £160 for the 10-week course, and sessions run from 18:45-21:00 – great value.
Portrait Drawing at The Bluecoat
Dot-art are offering a portrait class, running on Sundays from 6 February to 20 February. Each class is from 11:30 to 17:00 and aims to teach the fundamentals of drawing characterful portraits. The course is £125 and suitable for all levels of experience and skill.
Graffiti Art at Zap Graffiti
Zap Graffiti is located near Liverpool’s Chinatown and runs classes every Saturday. Perfect for a creative activity with friends, Zap Graffiti will teach you the basics of graffiti art and you will creative posters to take home. Private classes are also available for special occasions and parties. £20 per guest.
Paint and Sip with The Paint Republic
Hosted by the Baltic Social, The Paint Republic offers Paint and Sip parties on Wednesday nights, from 19:00 to 21:00. You can’t do anything wrong in this painting class and no experience is necessary to create something brilliant. Free-styling is encouraged and beginners are welcome. Listen to music, have a bevvie and create whatever you like. £25 per guest.
Cyanotype Printing Workshop at Make.
Make. are holding a botanical themed cyanotype workshop that focuses on wellbeing and therapeutic art. The environment will be supportive, fun and exciting and promises to be an incredible event, suitable for all experience levels. The cost is £27 per person.
