Ambro River teases debut EP single by single

Sundial is the latest release from Ambro River, the new alias of Liverpool-based alternative rock artist and Cavern Club resident, Richard Batty.

Following the extremely successful June release of his debut single, Electrolyte, which has already amassed over 30k streams on Spotify and forming as part of a full EP later this year, his latest single, Sundial is the perfect, upbeat summer track.

Influenced by a sundial in the playground of his old school, Ambro River deals with pain whilst looking for optimism with this latest track. Produced by Mark Wainwright at Alien Sound Studios, Sundial is a raw yet polished live recording featuring Jim Sharrock on drums and Tony Coburn on bass.

Ambro River: Sundial Official Video

The official video for Sundial projects the summer vibes of the song, Batty said “The beautiful weather took us to the beach to have some fun and film the video off the cuff, channeling a search for eternal youth and freedom.”

The nostalgic, psychedelic song takes only one spin to get stuck in your head. Sundial is a track that we’ll have on repeat this summer and so should you.
