Emergency Fund For The Liverpool Hospitality and Leisure Industry Launched

A £10 million emergency fund for the Liverpool hospitality and leisure industry has launched today in order to try and protect those businesses affected by the Covid-19 restrictions.

It is hoped that the emergency fund will save businesses from potential closure for up to four months until a larger financial support package can be obtained from the Government.

The financial support should come quickly- within 10 days of successful applications, with phase payments over the four month period.

Applications will be managed by a centralised portal here. Applications close at 5.00pm Friday 30 October.

Who is eligable to apply for the Emergency Fund For The Liverpool Hospitality and Leisure Industry?

  • Micro and small hospitality and leisure businesses based in the Liverpool City Region
  • One full time equivalant or more
  • Business to consumer company
  • Trading from a commercial premises

The amount awarded will be calculated according to the number of full time staff are employed and the rateable value of the commercial premises they occupy.
