New Photography Exhibition & Live Music Festival Announced For The Summer
Shout About It Live will host a hybrid festival of photography and live music in the Baltic Triangle’s District venue on Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th August.
The music line up is looking huge with The Cheap Thrills, Astles, Silent Cities, Eleanor Nelly, LUCA, Brothers of Mine, Cal Ruddy, Motherhood, Wildfires, Black Mountain Lights, Sly Antics, The Buffalo Riot, Riviera and Diamonds In The Dark all announced to play.
Shout About It is primarily a community for gig photographers to come together and share their love of live gig photography and the August event will give photographers the opportunity to showcase their work in District from midday, with the live music continuing late into the night.
Saturday’s music line up will feature noise makers and critic’s favourites Sly Antics, Liverpool favourites The Cheap Thrills and exciting newcomers Brothers of Mine also feature. Alt-indie lads The Buffalo Riot will be on hand to bring their infectious live set to the Baltic triangle along with the laid back sounds of Manchester’s Wildfires and outright rock’n’roll band Riviera. Plus don’t miss sets from Liverpool’s Cal Ruddy and Luca.
There’s no let up on Sunday as Merseyrail Sound Station 2016 winner Astles performs along with rising star Eleanor Nelly who has recently signed a record deal with DECCA Records. Elegant dream pop outfit Silent Cities will be bringing their ambient songs to the festival as well as the gorgeous folk sounds of the Black Mountain Lights and the intriguing alt-indie band Diamonds In The Dark.
Gig photographers confirmed for the exhibition so far include Georgia Flynn Creative, A Williams Photography, Trust A Fox, Jed Stuart Welland, Rob Stewart, Tomas Adam, Deb Kloeden, Sabrina Ramdoyal, Lindsay Melbourne and Adam Barnsley.
