Organic Food Market Opening On Bold Street
Liverpool will soon be home to a brand new organic food market, bakery and eatery. LIV Food Market, opening on Bold Street in March, will be offering the best in organic, natural and free from food.
LIV’s core concept is to promote healthy eating and living to help customers’ live longer, healthier lives and they aim to do this by offering organic and natural products including fresh fruit and vegetables as well as home and body products to support a well-rounded good lifestyle. Of course free from diets will also be well catered for at LIV with gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian and vegan options at the store.
There will also be an artisan bakery and the LIV Eatery, a lounge area with an exclusively-designed menu which promises to provide one of the healthiest and most natural breakfast and lunch options in the city.
LIV is situated in Radiant House, the former home of The Liverpool Gas Company, who were truly pioneers of innovation in their heyday, making it a fitting place for LIV to open their doors. The LIV buyer’s team have extensively searched for the highest quality foods from unique and innovative brands that are at the forefront of the pioneering healthy foods industry.
At the heart of LIV is its ethical and philanthropic activities that benefit the local community. Being an organic market they take recycling seriously, partnering with Liverpool City Council recycling department to make recycling cool. All their ‘Food To Go’ packaging will be either recyclable, biodegradable, compostable or reusable.
There will be no plastic bags used either, as the team have chosen an innovative shopping bag made from compostable PBAT and plant based PLA so there is no damage to the environment when disposing of the bags.
Similarly to its sister company, Healthy Foods Online, LIV also value their charity work which includes food donations to local homeless charity The Whitechapel Centre. Healthy Foods Online is a proud partner of Liverpool-based The Homeless Games, an initiative to help those who have experienced homelessness or social exclusion through sport and companionship. The partnership signifies the importance of the health and wellbeing of the local community to the company and that is what LIV is all about.
