Liverpool Bar, BoBo, Welcome Quizmaster Trev Fleming For Boxing Night Party

Celebrated Liverpool city centre bar, BoBo, will be ‘boxing clever’ over the Christmas holidays when it welcomes quizmaster extraordinaire Trev Fleming to host a night of nonsense and merriment.

Trev Fleming is well known as one of the best quiz hosts in the city with laughter and good times guaranteed delivered in his unique improvisational style.

Trev, from Northern Ireland, honed his craft in Liverpool founding comedy company Impropriety which ran for more than a decade delivering improv silly songs and scenes. He uses his performing background as an actor and voiceover artist to give his quizzes an extra helping of entertainment value.

From his now famous ‘Alan Rickman Film Quote Round’ to his funny way of saying the word ‘Eight’, Trev is a firm favourite on the Liverpool Quiz Hosting scene. Despite being a quizmaster he has yet to win a TV quiz having been on both The Chase and Pointless.

He said: “This Christmas quiz should be a fun filled evening that will test your turkey-filled brains and leave you with a jolly holly feeling.”

Trev will be getting BoBo’s Boxing Day party started from 7 pm and tickets cost £20 for teams up to six people and include a bottle of fizz and a charcuterie board and once booked, tables are reserved for the rest of the evening.

BoBo, authentically Iberian, on Castle Street has won an enviable reputation as one of the best bars in Liverpool and was recently acclaimed in the prestigious Observer Food Monthly awards.

Steven Burgess of Lucky Penny, owners and operators of BoBo, said: “You may know what a quiz night is like, but this will be a different level, because Trev Fleming is the best there is – wonderful, warm, off-the-cuff witty and who has a natural entertainer’s gift. It will be a brilliant night and we are delighted to welcome him to kick start our Boxing Day party.”
