On every corner of Liverpool, it seems there is something on for New Year’s Eve. The city is always buzzing with a magical atmosphere and studded with the glitz and glamour of New Year’s festivities. We’ve narrowed it down to our top ten picks for local events and parties so you can step into 2023, however you like! 

New Year’s Eve At 54 – CHURCH (18+)

For those that want to party all night, book tickets for CHURCH at 54, where you can stay out until 4 am! Organisers call this event, “a special midnight mass to celebrate the new year,” where, “our resident DJs deliver a special sermon to all our sinners as we dance into 2023.”

This is a high-demand event and tickets are low so make sure to order yours now!

PINS New Year’s Rockin’ Eve (18+)

Fans of disco, funk or 70’s music need to book tickets for PINS Social Club, where you’ll be rocking on the dance floor all night. The evening will kick off with the explosive and energetic brass band, ‘Twisted Tubes,’ with live DJ Dominic Dunn from 10:30 pm, accompanied by dancers and entertainment through the night. The ticket also includes a free drink of Heineken or prosecco on arrival so make sure to be on time!

LOST: New Year’s Eve Carnival (18+)

As always, Camp & Furnace have planned a spectacular and varied event to kick off the new Year. With two party spaces, you can flit between the house and techno music of Room 1 or HipHop/ Grime / DnB featured in Room 2. Expect glitter, raining confetti, smoke machines and spectacular circus performers to immerse you in the carnival atmosphere.

‘History’ – New Year’s Eve Party (18+)

Featuring amazing DJs such as Lee Butler and Anton Powers, head over to Alma de Cuba for a night filled with fun and historic club classics. The venue has dinner tables available from 6 pm – 9:30 pm so grab something to eat beforehand. VIP Balconies are also available for purchase at £35 (plus booking fee).

NYE Masquerade Ball (18+)

Time to dress to the 9’s and celebrate slightly differently! JALOUX is hosting an amazing masquerade ball in Liverpool, with the dress code titled: Dress to Impress. Earlybird Tickets are still available at £20 so make sure to swoop in! Your very own mask will be provided at the door to add an air of mystique, and you can dance all night to favoured DJs playing the best house and R&B tunes.

Roaring 20’s NYE Party (18+)

For those that love glitz, glamour and all things luxurious, enjoy this blast from the past at Revolution. The event will be themed ‘The Great Gatsby,’ and guests are encouraged to dress accordingly. With a glass of prosecco on arrival, a multitude of spectacular performers and some amazing VIP packages available, you’ll definitely want to check this out.

New Year’s Eve Ball Pit Party (18+)

We’re super excited for this New Year’s event at Liverpool’s Biggest Adult Playground. There’s no better way to kick of 2023 than sipping cocktails with your friends in the venue’s huge ball pit. Tickets start at only £5 with amazing group discounts. There will be pool and Ping-Pong tables, a free glass of fizz on arrival and a free cocktail when the clock strikes 12.

There’s no reason why the kids should miss out on having fun on New Year’s Eve. Take your friends or your little ones along to this wonderful 2-hour graffiti class. The team specialises in teaching the basic skills & techniques of the professional graffiti artist, giving you a space to get creative and make your own posters to take away home with you. Baltic High – Class of ’82 (18+)

Dust off your power suits and leg warmers for this 80’s Prom Themed NYE party! Boogie on the light up dance floor to all the classics.
