All I’m Saying is the lead single to be released from aspiring Liverpool artist Tom Swan and features on his upcoming sophomore EP Ghosts, set for release 21 August.
Differing from the opening track, titled Ghosts, All I’m Saying is a heartfelt love song, directed at the person in your life who you think is amazing, but needs some reassurance.
The track entails a bare, piano-dominated ballad, with simple yet captivating lyrics. The delicacy of the soundtrack works harmoniously with the emotive lyrics, which are projected at a gradual, thought provoking pace.
The mindfulness of lyrics such as ‘tell me what’s on your mind’, ‘I want you to see the way I see you’ and ‘it’s more than love’ are thoughtful and distinctive, giving Tom Swan an immediate likability. More impressively, Swan’s vocals are raw and genuine, delivered in an unrushed, soft, but powerful tone.
All I’m Saying is a track that you will be thinking about long after the song is finished, thanks to its ‘simple yet effective’ approach. If you’re looking for a track to stimulate your thoughts and contemplate your romantic emotions, this is it!
