Pieminister To Celebrate National Pie Week In Style

There’s loads of delicious deals happening at Pieminister this week (4-10 March).

From Mothership Monday to Sunday Funday, Pieminister will be bringing you seven days of amazing pie deals that will make you think you’ve died and gone to pie heaven. And on Pieday Friday (8 March) someone right here in Liverpool will win a year’s supply of pies!  Just buy a pie from Pieminister that day (to eat in, takeaway or have delivered to your door) and with it you’ll get a scratch card.  One lucky card will unlock the ultimate pie-lovers prize; free food at Pieminister every Friday, for a whole year.

Get organised and book a table in advance for the day that tickles your taste buds the most.  Choose between £10 towers of power (a 2-pie feast!) on Saturday or Happy Humpday happy hour all day on Wednesday. VIPies get to enjoy 2-for-1 pie meals all day on Tuesday, another great reason to join Pieminister’s Pie-vate members club.

As if a week-long festival of pie wasn’t enough, there’s a new limited edition pie arriving on the menu too for Pie Week.  Available for March only, when British lamb is in season, Lady BaBaa is a springtime celebration of lamb, root vegetables, red wine and rosemary.  Pair it with Pieminister’s famous minted mushy peas, mash and red wine gravy for a truly British pie week feast. Or what about heading to Pieminister on Sunday Funday and having it as part of the Sunday Best (all the best bits of a roast piled on top of a pie).  Just make sure you book your table in advance to enjoy your Sunday Best and Soft Serve Sundae for the Sunday Funday price of just £10!

Thankful Thursday is worth a special mention too. Throughout the day (Thursday 7 March) Pieminister will be donating 50p from every pie meal sold, to FRANK Water.  Pieminister hopes that Thankful (for FRANKful!) Thursday will help Pieminister smash their target of £10,000 raised before the partnership reaches its first anniversary this May. So whichever pie feast you pick, you’ll be going a long way to supporting FRANK’S safe water and sanitation projects in Nepal and India.

Big believers that everyone should be able to enjoy a really good pie, Pieminister has a growing range of gluten free and vegan pies and sides so this is a pie-fest for all.  Like their classic counterparts, these ‘free from’ pies are multi-award winners and fast becoming household names. There’s Kevin (as in Kevin Keegan, vegan), Chooks Away (a vegan ‘chicken’ pie) and gluten free versions of the beloved Heidi, Moo and Free Ranger pies. Made with carefully sourced ingredients, chosen for their ethical credentials, Pieminister pies really are as ‘good’ as they taste.

Not able to get to Pieminister between the 4 to 10 March?  You can still celebrate Pie Week with a pie. Order a box online, head to your nearest Waitrose or call Pieminister on 0117 950 4563 to find your local independent stockist.
