LEAF Announce Latest Events Dates

LEAF are busy once more across the city and Wirral with a selection of March dates across their three venues to choose from spanning music, arts and the return of pudding clubs.

Across Bold Street, Smithdown Road and West Kirby, there’s plenty of music, mindfulness and marvellous menus, to yoga and the return of a very real dating night returning for a second date on Tuesday 22 March – with not an app in sight. And don’t forget choreographer to the stars, James Wilson, is dropping into LEAF West Kirby for a Mother’s Day Ballroom and Brunch on Sunday 27 March.

As always, there’s lots to enjoy, savour and be immersed by at LEAF.

Anti-Dating App Social Night – Tuesday 22 March 

LEAF’s Anti-Dating App Social Night is all about bringing people back together and returns for its second date. With online and app-led dating dominant, the chance of meeting a potential beau out and about in the real world is ever more remote. This evening will help to bring people back together in the hope there may be some sparks found. 7pm – 11pm. Booking required – tickets available through Eventbrite.

La Violette Societa – Tuesday 29 March 

La Violette Societa 36’s special guests for the night are The Reed Conservation Society, Alexandra Haddow, Maria Ferguson and Wax-Tree-Cast. 

Pudding Club – Thursday 31 March

It’s a simple but equally winning idea. 5 delicious desserts, carefully paired with complementary LEAF’s loose-leaf teas rounds off March at LEAF Bold Street.

LEAF Smithdown Road

Thursday Challenge – Every Thursday
The Thursday Challenge is LEAF Smithdown’s weekly mind and matter session. Tricky subjects, curve balls puzzlers and grey-matter meddling questions feature in this very quizzy evening. A LEAF voucher prize awaits the winner. 8pm start and £2 entry per person.

Pudding Club – Tuesday 29 March
Expect lashings of rapture with 5 delicious dishes carefully paired with complementary loose-leaf teas for a sweet-toothed odyssey. 

LEAF West Kirby

Tuesday Challenge – Every Tuesday
LEAF West Kirby’s famous Tuesday Challenge quiz is back every Tuesday from 7pm and costs £2 to enter. It’s a true test of everyone’s cerebral acumen – expect all the classic rounds and a challenging difficulty level and there’s a LEAF voucher prize for winner.

Spotify Fridays – Every Friday
From 6pm, be immersed in a truly eclectic range of songs at Spotify Fridays each and every week. 

Mother’s Day Ballroom & Brunch – Sunday 27 March

Sunday 27 March at West Kirby promises to be extra special with a Ballroom and Brunch. It’s time to dust down the dancing shoes and do a few stretches in anticipation of a brilliant fun-filled day, including a 1-hour dance class with choreographer to the stars James Wilson, set in LEAF’s beautiful events space. The fantastic James will host a class suitable for all abilities, whether a seasoned dance-floor addict or someone who is more at beginner’s level, starting from 10am.

Pudding Club – Wednesday 30 March

LEAF’s monthly nirvana for anyone with a sweet tooth is back. Dessert heaven with 5 delicious dishes carefully paired with loose-leaf teas for a sweet-toothed odyssey. 

Oisín Hassan Music – Thursday 31 March

Live music from the wonderful Oisín Hassan Music, who brings the month of March to a close on the Wirral. Taking inspiration from song-writing heroes like Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen & Neil Young, Oisin crafts songs with an undeniably classic feel. 6pm, free entry
