Jazz Saturdays at Ma Boyle’s in January and February

Ma Boyle’s is a true Liverpool institution. The intimate hideaway is just off Water Street and nestled by the beautiful St Nick’s church gardens, an alehouse and eatery which is part of Liverpool’s maritime soul. Food and drink is served all day long, from breakfast brunchers and liquid lunchers to brilliant bistro dishes, and complimented by a wonderful range of beverages and irresistible cocktails at the stunning site infused with a touch of bohemia and history.

And of course there’s the music, too. Partnering with ParrJazz, Ma Boyle’s offers their irresistible weekly Jazz Saturdays which are now back for an opening run of free shows through January and February, with the first live event this Saturday 15 January with The Manouchetones.

Iain Hoskins, Ma Boyle’s owner, says: “We can’t wait to see Ma’s buzzing again and as always the ParrJazz guys are programming some wonderfully diverse artists in the coming weeks. Ma’s suits it all so well, jazz compliments our home and there’s something special about the music these very talented people create. It’s a highlight in our programming and we love having the sounds of jazz at Ma Boyle’s.”

Expect sultry grooves and aural delights each Saturday with some very talented artists dropping in. It’s free entry for all Jazz Saturday shows which start from 8.30pm. Reservations are via www.maboyles.com
