Indian Tiffin Room Has Become Liverpool’s Favourite Authentic Street Food Experience

Indian Tiffin Room on Duke Street, which only opened in January, has fast become Liverpool’s favourite Indian street food dining experience with guests describing it as ‘phenomenal’ and ‘out of this world’.

The 102 cover venue on the site of the old Mayur restaurant has welcomed over 5,000 diners, travelling from all over the north-west, to enjoy their authentic Indian street food, inspired by the bustling streets of India.  During the first 12 weeks of opening ITR sold over 2,300 of their signature Dosa’s, a south Indian pancake style dish made from rice, lentils or semolina and traditionally eaten for breakfast, lunch or dinner. 

The most popular dish on the menu is Butter Chicken (chicken tikka in a tangy tomato-based sauce), and the chicken lollipop is the most popular small plate. Indian Tiffin Room boasts a large selection of signature and bespoke cocktails, and the most popular cocktail is from their non-alcoholic ‘softail’ menu, the Nimbu Lychee, with the Indian Summer Passion leading the way on the signature cocktail list.

Indian Tiffin Room food is an exciting amalgamation of various regional dishes which are very popular in different parts of India. The menu is healthy, less influenced by heavily flavoured spices and filled with the authentic flavours of India.
