How To Support Liverpool Businesses Through The New Covid Restrictions

Whilst we are still trying to adjust to the new rules and restrictions, undoubtedly it is difficult to support our local independent restaurants, bars and shops in the ways we have done in the past. However, now, more than ever it is important that if we can, we try to find new ways to help.

This article aims to show how we can help support Liverpool businesses during the new Covid restrictions.

Bring The Restaurant To You

Home By Nico: Six By Nico And Their Amazing Home Dining Kits

Six by Nico

I am sure you have heard of Six by Nico by now, but if you haven’t, it is an affordable six-course tasting menu which is changed every six weeks. The Liverpool branch opened last year on North John Street, and has been hugely popular with many people booking ahead to secure their chance to try it.

Six by Nico have adapted their hugely popular concept to give you the experience in the comfort of your own home. They have launched Home by Nico with new dates being added regularly. It costs £50 for two people and includes everything you need for the perfect dining experience.

You can order via their website: https://homebynico.bigcartel.com/

Delifonseca

Dockside favourite Delifonseca are also bringing the restaurant to you with their Date Night Wine and Dine menu. It includes three courses and a bottle of wine of your choice for £50.

If you don’t fancy a three-course meal, they also have their very own online shop which has everything from essentials to ready meals to freeze as well as their own in-house butchers.

Elite Bistros at Home

You may be familiar with Gary Usher and his collection of restaurants – he has several across the North West including Wreckfish in Liverpool. Elite Bistros at Home gives its customers the chance to enjoy Elite Bistros food without leaving home. All of the dishes can be found on the Elite Bistros at Home website, which also includes recommended wine pairing and recipes.

Belzan

Although Belzan are able to open their restaurant, the intimate size of their space along with the need to reduce capacity to meet Government guidelines means they are reliant on their online store sales too. They’ve refocused their efforts with their Belzan at Home menu, where you can order starters, mains and desserts for collection (Saturday local delivery available too) to enjoy some amazing food at home.  They also stock a range of produce and plenty of wines so make sure you visit their store here.
