‘Here Comes The Sun’ Hard Days Night Hotel Launches New Summer Afternoon Tea

Hard Days Night Hotel is set for the warmer months with the introduction of its new Summer Cooler Afternoon Tea.

Served exclusively in the hotel’s Lounge, which features an array of impressive artwork in a cosmopolitan and vibrant setting, the quintessential British treat now includes the option of ‘Fab Four’ Beatles inspired cocktails.

Expertly devised with the summer season in mind, the imaginative ice-coolers are set to provide the perfect refreshing antidote for a hot sunny day.

General Manager Mike Dewey said: “With summer well underway, we wanted to treat our guests to a lavish, tasty treat. Afternoon Tea is already such a popular choice here at the hotel – with that in mind, we thought that it would be a great idea to adapt the menu to suit the time of year and incorporate a great range of Summer Coolers.”

The aptly named drinks catalogue includes ‘Strawberry Fields with Pepper’ a refreshing grass infused vodka based beverage; ‘Jubbly Bubbly’ created with a blend of passion fruit vodka and raspberry liqueur; ‘Honey Can’t Buy Me Love’ made with sweet amaretto and chocolate flavours, and the honey vodka and strawberry liqueur infusion ‘Love Is All You Need’.

To accompany the novelty tipple is a selection of savoury finger sandwiches such as Smokehouse Smoked Salmon and Citrus Cream Cheese, Glazed Ham with Meaux Mustard Mayo and Classic Cucumber and Welsh Beef. Those with a sweet tooth will also be treated to Fruit Scones with Clotted Cream and Preserves together with a range of cakes.

Mike added: “In addition to our innovative cocktails, guests can choose the ‘High Tea’ menu option, which includes Prosecco or Champagne to be enjoyed with the signature light bites. Whether guests prefer to upgrade their package or keep it traditional, all of our Afternoon Tea offerings are served with an assortment of fresh loose-leaf teas.

“We hope that both hotel residents and visitors alike will enjoy afternoons filled with great food and drink, and most of all relax and unwind amongst comfortable-chic surroundings.”
