Festival No 6 have announced an impressive first waves of acts for this year’s four day music, arts & culture festival in Portmeirion. Rock legends The Flaming Lips will no doubt perform a high energy set filled with surprises. After 16 years as a band and over three million albums sold Indie rock band Bloc Party and post rock favourites Mogwai make up the headliners.

The festival will also see performances from Brit award winner Rag’N’Bone man, soul star Laura Mulva, Wakefield’s finest The Cribs and wordsmith Kate Tempest.

The Cinematic Orchestra promise to bring a spine tingling show to North Wales. The band are returning with a hugely anticipated forthcoming studio album and it’s everything you could hope for: an epic, heart-achingly sad, but beautiful and uplifting piece of music. Their set at the festival will be one to remember.

Festival organisers have also announced a special collaboration between The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and tribute band The Bootleg Beatles who will grace the main stage with a performance to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the release of The Beatles Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club album.
