Emilio Pinchi To Launch Folk-Punk EP At ‘Songwriters At The Lantern’

Singer/Songwriter, Emilio Pinchi carves his own perspective on folk-punk and offers a stark outlook on everyday life, love and the purgatorial phase of moving from adolescence to adulthood with his latest offering, the ‘Trying Man EP’, due to be released on 4th November 2015.

Heavily influenced by the likes of Elliot Smith and The Antlers, Pinchi’s ‘Trying Man EP’ is insightful and effortlessly fresh, yet possesses character and deliberations that are wise beyond his years, only building on the progress and success he has seen in 2014.

Following on from his highly praised (Tom Robinson, BBC 6 Music) track ‘Trying Man’, which was produced in a kitchen after shunning a more traditional recording environment, Pinchi has quietly but surely been causing further excitement by playing a plethora of shows including supporting Nell Bryden at Liverpool’s Arts Club along with appearances on Bay TV and unique live performances on trains with Merseyrail.

Emilio Pinchi’s ‘Trying Man EP’ will be accompanied by an exclusive launch show in Liverpool’s Lantern Theatre, in conjunction with Mellowtone. Accompanying the EP will be a short documentary, shot during the recording process, which took place largely over the course of a single night in Emilio’s living room. This will be screened at the launch event for ‘Trying Man EP’; will also feature a live set from Emilio Pinchi, and the chance to get your hands on a copy of a limited-run cassette edition of the EP.

You Can Find Out More About Emilio On His Facebook Page & Listen To His Track ‘Trying Man’ On Soundcloud.
